Dragon Invasion is the event where you send your troops daily to fight on a ship. It consists of two phases:
Phases #
1. Preparation phase #
The ship has arrived and you can load equipment and troops until it departs to fight at 11:00 UTC. Every day you’ve 20 hours to prepare everything. You must fulfill 10 items in each of 4 categories (40 items per day).
- Weapon (any type)
- Chestplate (upper body), any of the 3 types
- Other types of armor (helmets, gaunglets, boots…)
- All Accessories (rings, potions… but spells bring the most points)
When you donate items to the ship, you receive 100% of gold and EXP.
2. Fighting phase** #
Your troops are away for 4h and gaining points. You can start preparing for the next fight already.
Note: The troops aren’t actually fighting and will not break items. It’s all in your head and there’s no spoon.
This repeats for 5 days. Total items needed: 50+50+50+50 = 200 items and enchantments too.
Event preparation: #
-
Prepare your best team: 1 champion and 4 heroes
-
Troop equip: For troops only their power rating counts. Items don’t break, so you can equip them with highest tier quality items + enchant them.
-
Sending equipment: Keep the most valuable items that you buy from NPCs, don’t sell them in shop. Lock them to your inventory. Quality items are worth more (green/blue/purple/gold)
-
Long before the event you can queue market requests for high tier items. Prices rise dramatically during the event
- The peak price hike is at tier 10, that’s when people struggle most often to finish the event. For example, Gobble Lord Helm (t10 heavy helmet) always reaches peaks of 6-9x the price. Why? It gives most points for a tier 10 equipment in category misc armor.
Crafting: #
- Unlock the highest tier items you can; premium and chest blueprints are worth more Airship Power. See blueprint data: useful-links
- Unlock the highest tier enchantments or buy them
Event execution: #
- Equip your most powerful fighters with the best you can (don’t forget about enchantments)
- You can replace troops and boosters, but items are sold permanently.
- Don’t forget to put everything inside the ship in time.
- Troops: If your best isn’t ready yet, put some weaker troops (just in case).
- Items: You’ll have the better items ready for the next day / buy on market.
- Keep crafting items for the next day (armor and enchants)
