I wanted to write down the enchantment market prices and their chances to enchant an item.
Scenario: You want to enchant purple or yellow items to equip heroes with
Tarrasque Enchant t12:
- Normal = gold/2 gems
- Green = gold/3 gems
- Blue = 9 gems
- Purple: 49 gems
- Yellow: 169 gems
Dark Enchant t12:
- Normal: gold/2 gems
- Green: gold/3 gems
- Blue: 10 gems
- Purple: 60 gems
- Yellow: 387 gems
Probability to enchant a yellow item with …:
- Yellow enchantment = 100%
- Purple t12 enchantment = 33% (so you need 3 attemps on average)
- Purple t9 enchantment = 20% (5 attemps on avg)
Probability to enchant a purple item with …:
- Purple t12 enchant = 100%
- Blue t12 enchant = 33%
- Blue t9 enchant = 20%
This pattern continues. So we can use lower rarity enchants to enchant higher items for cheaper.
- Tarrasque t12: Using 3x Purple on Yellow -> 150 gems vs 169 yellow on yellow
- Dark t12: Using 3x Purple on Yellow -> 180 gems vs 387 yellow on yellow
Huge savings!
PS: This also means it’s doubly not worth to fuse 5x purple enchants into 1x yellow. Same holds true for items due to 50% failure chance
